Do You Accept Insurance?
The short answer is “no”, at least not directly. I am what is known as an “out of network” provider, meaning that I can provide you with services, which you pay for in full and up front, and you may get reimbursed by your insurance provider directly. Most insurance companies need you to submit a “superbill” which I can provide for you. Please be aware that when using health insurance to pay for psychotherapy, parts of your mental health records and history must be made available to your insurance provider to facilitate reimbursement. I highly recommend that you contact your insurance provider directly prior to beginning our work together to fully understand your coverage and the limits of your treatment, confidentiality, and coverage.
What Are Your Rates?
My rate for a 45-minute psychotherapy or KAP integration session is $250.00. My rate for a KAP session that is 2-2.5 hours long is $750.00. Payment for services is an important part of any professional relationship. This is even more so in psychotherapy as one of the tenants of our work is to have a clear understanding of our relationship and boundaries including clarification of each person’s obligations to the relationship. I hold strongly to the belief that an investment you make in yourself is never wasted.
